Day 1, Van: Arrive Van in eastern Turkey. Transfer to the Grand Buyuk Urartu hotel. Visit the archaeological museum, 8^th Century Urartian citadel and Van castle.

Day 2, Van: Visit the 17^th Century Hosap castle and 8^th Century Cavustepe castle. Also visit the Agarti castle, Kef castle and 7^th Century Ayanis castle.

Day 3, Van - Dogubayazit: Drive along Lake Van to Gevas and take a boat cruise across the lake to Akdamar Island. Here, see the 10^th Century Armenian Church of the Holy Cross with Biblical frescoes and a restored museum. Also visit Carpanak Island to see another inspiring medieval church. Afternoon, drive to Dogubayazit via the picturesque Muaradiye waterfalls. Stay at Isfahan hotel/Hotel Nuh.

Day 4, Dogubayazit: Visit Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark National Park where it is believed that Noah’s Ark rested after the flood. Also visit the Ishak Pasha Palace at Dogubayazit, one of the most distinguished and magnificent examples of 18^th century Ottoman architecture.

Day 5: Dogubayazit-Kars: Take a pleasant drive through mountainous countryside via Igdir to Kars. Stay at Sim-Er hotel.

Day 6, Kars: Visit the 12^th Century Kars Kalesi castle built by the Seljuks. Also visit the Havariler museum (Church of the Apostles) and Kars museum.

Day 7, Kars: Morning transfer to airport for flight to next destination.
