IVAT was conceived, designed and nurtured to serve the American market’s yen for Asia. This was not by accident but by choice. IVAT directors have lived, marketed and executed programs to Asia for several decades.
Victor Biswas worked in India with Mercury Travels for over 10 years before he moved to America where he has subsequently worked for 30 years as a travel planner and consultant to American organizations seeking travel to India. After he established IVAT in 1985, he developed a team of dedicated professionals at the New York office, which specifically caters to and serves the needs of American travelers to Asia.
Soon thereafter, he set up an associate office in New Delhi, which is also managed and staffed by travel professionals. They now have many years of experience in serving American customers, organizations and academic institutions. The India office has developed and perfected a strong service network with hospitality and tourist agencies in India to meet these expectations with excellence.
